WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

·         In order to validate this warranty, the retail customer is required to register their bike within 15 days of purchase.

·         If the product exhibits a quality defect within 15 days of delivery, the affected part will be either repaired or replaced.

·         The assurance period shall begin either on the date the bike is delivered to the retail customer or on the date the retail customer collects the bike from the retailer.

Any parts that are replaced under warranty must be returned to the Company and will become the property of the Company. The replacement of parts will be subject to the following terms and conditions:

Repair or Replacement of Faulty Parts

The Company, or its authorized dealers, will only repair or replace parts that are deemed faulty due to defective materials. Any other issues not related to material faults will not be covered under this warranty.

Authorized Repair and Service Locations

Only the Company or its authorized dealers are authorized to repair, service, or assemble/reassemble the product. It is the responsibility of the customer or purchaser to bring the faulty product to the premises of an authorized dealer for inspection or repair.

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

This warranty does not cover corrosive parts, plastic, PVC, rubber components, or accessories that add to the decorative value of the product. These parts and accessories are not included under warranty and will not be repaired or replaced.

Required Documentation

To validate any warranty claims, the customer must provide a photocopy of the sales invoice along with the serial number of the product to the Company. This documentation is essential for processing warranty requests.

Battery Use and Restrictions

The battery used in the product is a special application battery specifically designed for electric cycles. It should not be used for any other application or product. Misuse of the battery in other contexts will void the warranty.

Company’s Right to Modify Warranty Terms

The Company reserves the right to change or withdraw any or all of the terms of the warranty policy at any time, without prior notice. Customers are advised to review the warranty terms periodically for any updates.

Regular Maintenance and Safety Checks

To ensure the safe and optimal performance of the product, all customers should have their products periodically checked by an authorized dealer as per the recommended service schedule. These checks should identify any potential issues such as cracks, wire damage, corrosion, dents, deformation, peeling paint, or signs of misuse or abuse. Regular maintenance is crucial for safety and to prevent accidents, injuries, or a shortened product life cycle.

Battery Degradation

Lithium-ion batteries, by nature, tend to degrade over time. As a result, the mileage per charge will decrease as the battery ages. This is a natural characteristic of the battery and is not covered under warranty.

This warranty shall not be applicable under any of the following conditions:

Normal Wear and Tear on Consumable Parts

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear on consumable parts, such as tires, tubes, brake pads, rotors, chains, cassettes, spokes, grips, seats, and similar components. These parts are subject to regular wear due to their frequent use, and their replacement is the responsibility of the owner.

Damage Due to Neglect

Any parts that are damaged due to neglect, such as rusting or lack of proper maintenance, are not covered by the warranty. It is important to follow the recommended care and maintenance guidelines to ensure the longevity of the product.

Accidents, Misuse, or Improper Usage

Damage or failure caused by accidents, misuse, improper storage, or abnormal usage (such as stunts or mountain biking) is not covered under the warranty. The bike should be used in a manner consistent with its design and intended purpose.

Improper Installation or Assembly

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation or assembly of the bicycle or any of its components. This includes issues arising from self-assembly or assembly by an unauthorized technician that does not meet manufacturer standards.

Labour Charges

The warranty does not include labour charges for the replacement, repair, or servicing of parts. Any costs associated with disassembly, reassembly, or installation of replacement parts must be borne by the owner.

Modifications Without Written Approval

Any modifications made to the bike’s parameters or components without written approval from the manufacturer will void the warranty. This includes unauthorized changes to the display, controller, or any other part that may render the bike inoperative. If you are considering any modifications or have questions about approved changes, please contact us for guidance.

Rental or Bike Sharing Programs

The warranty is void if the e-bike is used for rental services, bike-sharing programs, or in any other commercial application. Unauthorized modifications or disassembly of the bike will also invalidate the warranty.

Bicycle Service and Tune-Up

Regular servicing and tune-ups, including adjustments, lubrications, and minor repairs, are not covered under the warranty. These should be performed by the owner or a certified service provider as part of routine maintenance.

Product Images

Product images shown are visual representations of the bike and its components. Due to stock availability or minor design changes, some elements may differ slightly from the image. These discrepancies are not considered defects and will not qualify for warranty claims.

The warranty stands null and void if:

The warranty will become void under the following conditions:

Tampering with Serial Number/Identification Code

If the serial number or identification code of the product is tampered with, altered, removed, or rendered illegible, the warranty will be void.

Exceeding Permissible Load

If the product is used beyond the maximum permissible weight limit of 120kg, the warranty will be void. Overloading the bike can lead to damage to structural components and compromise safety.

Usage for Stunts, Competition, or Unintended Activities

The warranty is void if the product is used for activities such as stunts, racing, competition, or any other forms of use that the product was not specifically designed for. Such misuse can result in damage that is not covered by the warranty.

Tampering or Modification of Parts

Any tampering or modification of the product's original parts or components will void the warranty. This includes altering or changing critical parts like the motor, controller, battery, or frame. Unauthorized modifications can affect the performance and safety of the bike.

Resale to Another Person or Company

If the product is resold to another person or company without prior approval, the warranty will be void. The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser.

Failure to Follow Maintenance Instructions

If the product is not maintained according to the manufacturer’s recommended service schedule or if routine maintenance is ignored, the warranty will be void. Proper care is essential for ensuring the longevity and safety of the product.

Use of Unauthorized Parts or Accessories

The warranty will be void if the product is modified or damaged due to the installation or use of parts, accessories, or components that were not authorized by the manufacturer. This includes third-party parts or accessories that are not designed for use with the product.

Damage from External Factors

If the product is damaged due to external factors like exposure to extreme weather conditions, fire, flooding, or any other environmental hazard, the warranty will be void.

Failure to Report Defects or Issues in a Timely Manner

If defects or issues are not reported to the manufacturer or an authorized dealer within a reasonable time frame after discovery, the warranty will be void. Prompt reporting ensures that issues can be inspected and resolved in a timely manner.

Unauthorized Repair or Modification

If repairs or modifications are carried out by anyone other than authorized professionals or service canters, the warranty will be void. The bike must be serviced by certified technicians to maintain warranty coverage.

Non-Compliance with Safety Standards

If the product is used in a way that does not comply with safety guidelines or is operated in a manner that poses a risk to the rider or others, the warranty will be void.

Commercial or Rental Use

The warranty will be void if the product is used for commercial purposes or in any rental or bike-sharing program, as the product is designed for personal use only.
